In L2/L3 Mode or OVA Mode Port Index Description

On L2/L3 mode or OVS mode, user can configure ports in QSFP/normal, SFP/max and FLEX mode on the as7312_54x switch.

NOTE:

1. The first 48 ports are grouped, each four ports are grouped as shown in the following table.

2. For the first 48 ports, the transmission rates of optical modules inserted in the ports of a group needs to be the same, and the configured port speed must be the same too, that is to say,

  • when inserting an optical module to the switch port, the transmission rates of the optical modules should be the same in a group.
  • for the first 48 ports, you should manually configure the port speed by using the set interface gigabit-ethernet speed command before inserting an optical module, and the port speed of the four ports in the same group should be configured together and with the same value.

 

QSFP/normal + FLEX switched from QSFP

When ports are in QSFP/normal mode, the mapping between physical ports, interface names in QSFP, interface names in FLEX switched from QSFP and interface support speed are in the following table.
