1.       The first 48 ports are grouped as shown in the following table, four ports form a group.

2.       For the first 48 ports, the transmission rates of optical modules inserted in the ports of a group needs to be the same, and the configured port speed must be the same too, that is to say,

  •    when inserting an optical module to the switch port, the transmission rates of the optical modules should be the same in a group.
  •    you should manually configure the port speed by using the set interface gigabit-ethernet speed command before inserting an optical module, and the port speed of the four ports in the same group should be configured together and with the same value.

3.       The last two ports are 10G-Base-KR ports which can be configured as two 10G SFP+ ports on the front panel or two 10G-KR ports linked to CPU. For details please refer to document 10G-Base-KR Interface Configuration.

4.       On AS7326-56X switch, due to ASIC limitations, xe-1/1/8 port is not allowed to be split into four Gigabit Ethernet sub-interfaces.
