After MLAG is successfully deployed, you can run the MLAG statistics command to check packet statistics about MLAG. The command output helps you to determine whether data is normal or not and to locate faults.

View MLAG packet statistics of COPP:

admin@Xorplus# run show copp statistics forwarding-class mlag-class

mlag-class Traffic statistics:

forwarding-class state: active

Input rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec

Input Packets...........................1

Input Octets.............................153

Drop rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec

Drop Packets.............................0

Drop Octets..............................0

admin@Xorplus# run show copp statistics forwarding-class mlag-mac-sync-class

mlag-mac-sync-class Traffic statistics:

forwarding-class state: active

Input rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec

Input Packets............................9

Input Octets.............................1511

Drop rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec

Drop Packets.............................0

Drop Octets..............................0

View the MLAG control plane packets statistics:

admin@Xorplus# run show mlag statistics

# of input: 72                                    # of Output: 65

# of input MLAG Control: 11                       # of Output MLAG Control: 11

# of input MAC Sync: 9                            # of Output MAC Sync: 12

# of input STP Sync: 2                            # of Output STP Sync: 2

# of input VXLAN Sync: 23                         # of Output VXLAN Sync: 19

# of input Multicast Control Sync: 2              # of Output Multicast Control Sync: 1

# of input Configuration Consistency: 25          # of Output Configuration Consistency: 20

To collect statistics about MLAG traffic generated over a certain period, first reset the original statistics.

Clear MLAG control plane packet statistics:

admin@Xorplus# run clear mlag statistics
